Train This AI That Can Read Emotions

The technologies of Javascript, NodeJS, ConvnetJS, and Convolution Neural Network were used to create an AI that can read emotions from a face that you draw. Well at least Alice, the name of the AI, can try and guess the emotion.

AI that can read emotions

Happy is easy to detect (and draw).

Just draw a face, and she will tell you what emotion she thinks it has in real time. If you think that her guess is inaccurate, you can help her learn what emotion you actually drew by clicking the ‘Train’ button.

You can help train Alice

She’s been trained more than 70,000 times, and with each new training, she evolves. The easiest emotions to get are perhaps happy and sad. As for the others, especially bored, worried, and surprised, she might not have enough in her artificial brain to accurately tell them.

Go and check out this Chrome Experiment here, and help train Alice to read emotions better.
