Google recently celebrated the 111th birthday of Josephine Baker with a special Google doodle.
Josephine Baker, a Jazz icon of the 1920s fought racism and became the first entertainer of African-American heritage to gain international recognition. During the 2nd World War, she worked as an undercover for the French resistance group.
She used her celebrity status and socialized to gather intelligence information. She would then write her report with invisible in on her music sheets.
