TechCrunch: Gamification Grows Up

TechCrunch has a post talking about how the phenomenon known as Gamification has grown up, quoting Gartner recommendation that all CIOs should have gamification on their radar and research from M2 predicting the market will hit $2.8 billion in direct spending by 2016.

I wrote about the perils of Gamification a couple of years ago, but given that the openness of the platform and possibility for reaching into other categories of apps that HTML5 provides, Gamification is going to be a major target of HTML5 Game Developers in the years to come.
