Chrome for Android: mobile GPU accelerated Canvas FTW!

Google introduced Chrome for Android helping catch the Android browser up with iOS Safari with support for GPU acceleration of the HTML5 Canvas element along with support for requestAnimationFrame. Chrome for Android also now supports remote debugging – very useful in debugging a Game on on a device (given the slowness of the Android emulators)

Mobile suddenly became a much more viable platform for HTML5-based gaming with the Android-side of the equation making fantastic strides.

Google has set up a spot for Mobile Docs which will hopefully fill up with content as time goes on.
