Wipeout Reverse Engineer

Wipe 1

Everyone remember the classic Playstation game Wipeout. Now, this of course isn’t the game show based video game, but futuristic racer across seemingly zero gravity environments that defy the laws of physics. It’s fast-paced, fun, and was graphically impressive for the period in which it was released.

Wipe 2

One of the coolest things I think you can do is bringing these older games onto new platforms to show how far we’ve come. That’s exactly what someone did in HTML5 with a Wipeout Reverse Engineer that allows you to follow the race tracks of each level or free fly and look at all its nuances. It’s cool, and I’d take a look at it here to see how far we’ve come and the power of HTML5.
