Wexha Planet
This demo created by NasimiAsl lets you explore a small planet, devoid of anything but with a magnificent view of the cosmos. Called Wexha Planet, the project was created using BabylonJS. You can move across the rolling terrain using WASD keys and turn around using the mouse.
But the planet’s surface is not the main attraction here; it’s the skies above you that will offer some awe-inspiring sights. You can appreciate the Milky Way (or maybe it’s a different galaxy?) from all perspectives. And then there are these heavenly bodies looming above you that look almost too close for comfort.
One remarkable feature of the planet is that it “moves”. Well, at least you get the impression that it is not static. If you stand long enough in one place, you will experience a transition from dark to light and back, as if the planet is rotating. The planet’s movement is more obvious when you observe the objects in the sky as they change positions with time.
