WebVR layers visualized in Google Poly

Making a virtual reality app isn’t quite a walk in the park. Even building smaller sized projects requires a lot of work to fill in those worlds with objects. This is especially challenging for small development teams and studios or newcomers.

The recent release of Google Poly will hopefully make things easier for VR app developers. Poly is Google’s library of free 3D objects for augmented and virtual reality apps. The objects are cross-platform and should work in platforms like Google’s own ARCore or Apple’s ARKit.

Here is an example of an object from Poly that showcases the many layers of WebVR. You can actually get a visual feel of how the whole chain works.
