Voxel Chrome Experiment

Vox 1

Voxel-based games are the rage right now across every platform. Minecraft, one of the most purchased game of all time, is voxel based and shows just how popular this style of game is. So when I saw this Chrome Experiment that utilized Voxels I just had to see what it was all about. In the experiment, a cube frame is created, and you can add or removed extra voxel from it to create your own shapes.

Vox 2

Now my talent for creating the voxel art wasn’t great, but I can imagine some people created some really awesome things with it. It comes with a bunch of options to adjust the lighting, scene, and colors, so the potential of what you can create is huge. It’s a great example of HTMl5’s ability to create voxel-based applications and you can try it for yourself here.
