Unity Game Engine Pricing Fee

Early in September 2023, Unity Technologies announced the Unity game engine pricing fee. Starting on 1 January 2024, the company will charge game developers a fee (2 tiers) for each install once a game reaches both the revenue and install criteria.

Revenue Criteria (last 12 months)

  • $200,000 (USD) for Unity Personal and Unity Plus
  • $1,000,000 (USD) for Unity Pro and Unity Enterprise

Install Criteria (Lifetime)

  • 200,000 installs for Unity Personal and Unity Plus
  • 1,000,000 installs for Unity Pro and Unity Enterprise
