Games are often used to help increase brand awareness and customer engagements during events and holidays. Mostly, these games are built with HTML5 technology in order to be playable by everyone.
Here’s one example of how a European company utilized a HTML5 game to promote its brand and partners. Voltimum, the leading digital portal for Europe’s electrical industry, developed a penalty shootout game to celebrate the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Voltimum Penalty Kick was built by reskinning a pre-made game, called Penalty Kick. Here’s a summary of how the HTML5 game was modified.
– Added company logo and sponsor names throughout the game
– Changed the color theme to match the brand’s identity
– Made two languages: English and German
– Added registrations forms and leaderboard
