Color Spin Game Will Test Your Color Vision Acuity
Color snobs of the world, here’s a new HTML5 game you will probably enjoy. Color Spin is an endless runner that will test how well your eyes can distinguish colors. It is a 3D game that uses WebGL technology for rendering.
The player controls a character that has to move round and round a square-shaped path made of colorful blocks. You make your character jump forward by clicking the color of the next box. The previous boxes fall down and are replaced by more blocks dropping from above.
At some point, the path starts spinning in all directions, making it harder to see where you’re going.
Only 2 color choices are given at a time. Select the wrong color and the game is over. Choose too late, and the dropping blocks will catch up with you and crush you.
It’s easy enough to choose when the colors are contrasting, say blue vs. orange. But what if you have to select between Cerulean Blue and Cornflower? Between Light Gray and Lighter Gray?
The choice then becomes a little less clear. And when you are pressed for time to make quick decisions, you’re bound to make a mistake at some point!
