Google Maps 8-Bit Quest Tower Defense

Does it count as a game or just a mash-up of an elaborate Google April Fools job? No one knows – but I do know that Duncan Barclay’s turning Google’s 2012 April fools joke Maps “8-Bit Quest Mode” into a tower defense game is brilliant. Given that the twitter account first tweeted three hours ago from this posting, I believe this was conceived of and executed since yesterday. Well done!
